Wei Jie Loke Photography

Hey all, my name is Wei Jie Loke and I am turning 24 this year. My day job is studying Medicine at Barts and the London, but all that changed at the turn of 2017. Though I started out taking photos on iPhone, the views while hiking up Mt. Rigi in Lucerne inspired me to try my hand at photography. Since receiving my DSLR camera in January, I have been trying to practise taking photos as much as the medical curriculum allows.

Even though I started out just uploading on Instagram, I felt that Instagram frames were too small to fully appreciate the amount of detail and effort that went into each shot. I resented issues with cropping and rescaling pictures on Instagram so I wanted to build a website to showcase all my artwork as it was intended to capture. I hope that you enjoy seeing what I saw in my travels and I hope to bring you more beautiful photos in the days to come!
